My roommate left a Tomos a35 b in my house, with no intent of retrieving it. I have no idea about it... I found someone to get it back together. Should I leave it in the "original" condition? If not, what could I "upgrade?"
It looks like it already has an aftermarket pipe and cylinder on it. Put it back together and ride it. No way for you to know what you want out of it without riding it. You might as well check the rear brake shoes while you have the wheel off.
Forks look bent
New fork tubes for sure if they're tweaked. I got these on mine and they're a real improvement https://www.treatland.tv/tomos-a35-EBR-complete-fork-tube-leg-set-p/tomos-a35-ebr-fork-tube-set.htm
Also new springs in the back, since tomos springs have come apart on me and one other guy I know.
Looks sweet though. Love the colors and stickers. If you can, keep those sidecovers

I think thats just the rubber covering. doesnt look like its sitting properly on the fork
Hit up Swoops on Facebook here.
That's an imported Tomos that one of us built and sold a year or two ago. We can give you more info about the bike's history. I'm sure someone has the parts you need to get it back together in their garage. It's already kitted and piped. It is a decently quick bike if you can piece it together again.
I was gonna say, that paint job and white fender scream European tomos. Sick bike
Front forks definitely need replacing. Do that before riding it. Super sick tomos!
