Help me price my ped.

Hey all. Help me price my ped.

It was fun reading the post for help pricing some rusty rims. I thought I’d add some fodder to the opinionologist on this site.

And, yes, opinionologist is a real word, ‘cause I just made it up. Maybe. You know who you are!!

Oh yeah: General 5 Star 1983, cafe bars, Polini 80cc Kit fully broken in, new tires, SHA 16:16 jetted at 72, EV Racing Equipment Blaster pipe, Minarelli V1. New Batt, bulbs, headlight. Runs right. (edited)

IMO, just like the rusty rims, any value assigned to it is pretty much arbitrary. It’s worth what an arms length buyer wants to pay for it. On any given day, that can fluctuate depending on demand and geographic location of the bike.

Top Tank in NYC? Starting price for a runner is like $1.2k

Can go up or down, dependant on condition. I would probably sell that bike as is asking 1.2, and end up at 1K

The identical bike in N.J. would go for considerably less. Again, depends on supply and demand in your specific location.
