Hey! My first post here, but definitely not the last. I have a Moto Guzzi robin that sat for a long while under cover. Not used to bikes at all so this is all a new venture to me,but am not going to let this bike beat me!

Been slowly rebuilding it, got an upgraded carb, new throttle cable, new tires n tubes, changed the crankcase oil, and flushed the tank with some muriatic acid.

Currently waiting on my new fuel tap from Italy.

I tried to get it to catch today by putting some fuel into the piston, putting the plug back in with stock gap and holding the throttle open while push starting and nothing. I have the brake light wires grounded to the frame so there's spark, but certainly it's not consistent enough. It'll spark once every couple of rotations.

I'd assume this has to do with the stater/flywheel area? I'd like to get the stock engine running, but not against throwing it in the bin.

I'm even in the market for any parts or a whole engine for it ( or swaps )

Thanks! Looking forward to meeting everyone!
