Spark Plug

I seem to have bought the wrong spark plug.. on the right is what I believe to be the original and on the left is what I bought.. I swear it was the right one but I guess not. Can anyone help me find a plug for my 1981 garelli rally sport 2 speed?

The new plug you bought is correct.

Re: Spark Plug

The old one might have been good for a lawnmower . ;)

No, you just need to grab a pair of pliers and screw off the fat cap on the end of the spark plug. Then you're good

Re: Spark Plug

I run your new plug in my vip engine. And my noi. Like the above said. Remove that top cap and you are all set. Get ready for your bike to ride better with a plug that actually breaches the cyl a touch as it should. Your old one would not have cleared the head.
