Carb for Franco Morini M1

Hi I have bought a replacement engine for my Malaguti Commuter, an M1 I believe. It came without carb, which carb do I need, a Dell orto SHA 14.12? TIA

cheers guys, I am over in UK but I know where the expertise is. BTW is SHA 14.12 right for an M01 as wall as M1?

Dave,

Yes a 14.12 SHA is a stock carb size for an M1 as well as M01/MO2. However you will want to check your Intake to see if it is marked 9 or 12. If it is 9 then it was meant for a 14.9 which will mean it is restricted with a 14.12 however the 14.12 will still fit.
