It appears to be some tube frame Italian bike. Probably one of the later, rarer ones, maybe I'm wrong but looks like an M101 to me

Yeah at first I thought it was a hobbit cuz of the seat, but then also a motron... bot neither of those obviously fit. And it looks like it has a tube swing arm which makes me want to cross off vespa too. So I was thinking the tube style garelli...gulp? Super sweet lookin bike. Maybe a studio bike but feels more local?

To be honest I thought that movie would suck because it’s an all girl team but it wasn’t any worse then the other 🌊 movies.

It is probably one of the better ones. We just re watched them for Carl Reiner's passing. It was the best things I could get the fam on board with, I know there are some much better examples of the mans work.
But hey, now there is even more of a reason to watch oceans8. Figure out who the dude with the moped is. I'm hoping some NYC folks will chime in.

I don't recognize the bike, honestly, and I have been here through the period when it would have been filmed, and know a ton of production folks who ride.
There are 100+ riders in our group chat, and must be hundreds more that aren't aware of said community.

I probably liked the movie just because girl are More enjoyable to look at.
They did kinda go over boarder with some the skills the girls had. The guys Team just kinda went for it and hope it worked out and always had a way out. (edited)

I don't know that new york moped eithor. I heard the movie industry used to use storage units to keep their extra equipment and vehicles. After they are done filming they pretty much forget about the stuff in storage and it gets sold at storage auctions.

Looks like it might be a hardtail, or has color matched coilovers with black springs. mag wheels, no fuel tank to speak of, unless the downtube is it. Looks like it might be fully rigid. Maybe a SA50?

There's a French spy spoof on Netflix I saw a 61 motobeacane. About six episodes in but a lot of Paris city scenes circa 1964. So u can see a lot of parked mopeds and scooters.
