Here is my Derbi ds50, I had it new in 1994, And it was stored since 1999; I decided to customize it with a Derbi furax start 3.

excuse my ignorance but what does the FURAX denote? Is that the cylinder company?

Re: my Derbi START FURAX

Furax was a late model Derbi that is similar to the ds50, but has an engine that is short stroke big transfers and is basically half way between a flat reed and a revolution engine in design.

Ahh I assumed it wasn’t the model cause of the DS-50 seat.

Thanks!

Re: my Derbi START FURAX

It is a ds50, he just swapped over the furax engine, subframe, wheels and forks. It’s a very clean build and looks factory. 💯💯💯
