Hi, i have splitted my speedometer and
moved the needle a little back (i popped it
Off and back until it was syncronised with my
gps at cruise speed exactly and then assambled
It again.
Be carefull the needle is very easy to break,
Mine was broken allready så i made a new out
Of a piece of hard plastic,my dremmel and a 1mm drillbit.
It's cool, i like it :-)

i also got it a drop a glue just to be sure
At first, I thought it was the clothes pin!
Looks nice (and sharp).
:D ..yes and it's nice and steady now, before it jumped around lìke crazy at different speeds with that half broken speedo needle. (edited)

No i used a small screwdriver to gently free the cap, a few mm at the time, all the way round
( from behind).
It's not a big deal, the metal is soft and thin

The clothespin holds his GPS.

So now the speedo is correct when your are cruising, but reads 4 mph at stop?
You haven't really synchronized it, just adjusted the alignment on the scale so it is only accurate at cruising?
I'm not sure if you've fixed the problem or just moved it.

it looks like its resting on the stop pin in that photo, the amount of tension in these things is so tiny, its almost impossible to make them accurate below 10 mph anyhow.

Well it's pretty close to the gps from 20km/t to 55km/t.. My Tomos can't go any faster :-) at the moment.
I think i fixed my speedo, if it worked and the needle wasn't broken i would never
have touched it. But when the needle has been of the pin, i think it is a nice
way to figure where put it back (edited)
