I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Bikes look cool but, Idk.... they are always claiming these 150-160km bikes......with stock exhaust. What tricks do they have up there sleeves.....

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

A lot of them are using motorcycle engines like ninjas and 150cc stuff.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Looks like they took the headlights off

I’ll have to try that

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

I think we should gather resources and track one one that has one of these videos, and buy it, mail it here, and fuck with it, see if these are real. I'm betting they are not.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

im pretty sure ive seen some wild ass, 2-6 cylinder AV10 mobys on the zozimotor instagram. those turks are fuckin wild dude; no seat, no lights, usually no front brake, all while theyre supermanning it down the freeway

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Here is my issue, and it's one I take with lots of things that dont' pass the smell test. Every one of these bikes look like a stock moby motor, no expansion chamber, no big kit (or no noticeable aftermarket heads ect..) stock sized carb, tiny gear in back, then 160kph? That's basically an idiots first attempt at speed and we all know that doesn't work so what's the trick. Either it's a lie, or every bike built in the US is pathetic. Which seems more likely?

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Turkey somehow must have ancestry dating way back to the New Jersey era (edited)

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

They are basically running 100cc 2 strokes

Which if you give it enough room sure you can hit 120kph+

I wonder about the displacement. Maitland you think they are running 100cc kits? Idk it is so confusing. My Vouge that I though I got moving only tops out at 75km. They are hitting double that! “They claim” maybe I need to Superman.

Jess I would love to see one of those bikes make it to the states... what fork set do they all run that is ridged and mm from the tire.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Maitland, if there is a drop on 100cc motor for a moby I'd love to know about that. Most of these videos are not of twin motors though, so unless they got a crazy motor they selling I'm still skeptical hippo.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

RC nitro fuel ?

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

🇮🇹💦 Of the Loin /

yeah they run 2-4x 50cc moby motors

run the cranks opposed you get mostly the full power of 100cc

def seen a 4x moby turk build, thats 200cc of power my dude!

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Yeah, and they’re running skinny bicycle wheels and tires. Absolutely insane.

I say we BLAST them

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

🇮🇹💦 Of the Loin /

skinny tires make some sort of difference

thats how the Denver boys hit 72 on Pinball 2, and the crazy fairing

It’s all rolling resistance. Minimize unsprung mass and the friction of the tires.

ALSO, these dudes are not faster than Alex aka twostrokestuffing and that dude is rocking a lot more than some skinnies and the superman. Just hoping he can get back to Bonneville and set some records.

Also, I think we should BLAST em all

Damn! That's cool....those guys supermanning blow my mind, even at a reasonable speed I would never try that....

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

I have supermaned on a garelli RS noi with the team reed engine. Hit 46mph, known due to friend Pacing in a car next to me. Supermaning is fun but super sketch for sure. The way those guys reach down and grab their front fork tho is too crazy.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

^ You are a brave soul! I used to go fast on real motorcycles, and even when young I was scared...would never in a million years superman...especially on a moped! Crazy shit...fun to watch, prob not so much to clean up after though...

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Looks like a long downhill in that video....

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Balls is racing a wobbly stamped frame moped at 60mph in an average sized us city.

Huge Balls is racing that glorified toy in an average Turkish city when the nearest hospital is 90 minutes by rutted dirt road and doubles as the goat farmer's birthing shed.

We think we're so tough shit here. (edited)

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

I've watched more than a couple over the years and feel that they're sped up.

Got any tips for me to get my balls bigger than huge?

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

The video in this thread is a single cylinder that looks made of stock parts. Skinny tires, high gearing, superman swag, all you need boys.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Did you see the gearing on the one in the video. Looks like 30 something teeth.

With a 70 kit and a two mile headstart going downhill you can probably get pretty fast.

Too bad theres no engine sound to get an idea how fast that engine is spinning.

You can get an almost 45mm stroke crank for av10 now and paired with that parmakit you have a 90cc engine

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

I love the prep work at 1:02. Basically just have a roll up cigarette and you're good. The video looks legit, as in not sped up, but they do look amazingly standard mopeds. Idk what gives. When they start the race, they are off the line like a scalded cat.

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

🇮🇹💦 Of the Loin /

Its a newish cylinder looks like , could be a kit

But they are also running what looks like a 35-40 tooth sprocket on either an 18" or 19" rear wheel, which would give you the top end to hit those speeds after some runway. I believe he's got a PHBG on there too, I tried to look in the first shot, doesn't seem to be a SHA

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Here are a few indian bikes. They have pipes and honestly if they are ported does it even matter is it is the stock cylinder or not?

Re: I don’t get the Turkish bikes.

Everything about that video is misleading bullshit.

They chase car lets the mopeds get 1/4 mile ahead then runs them down.

You can tell, when they flash the camera past the 160kph, that they are gaining on the moped at almost twice it’s speed. Braking very hard to match him while going alongside.

When they approach the crowd at the bottom, count the lines on the highway. I wouldn’t say they ever hit 100kph. Maybe 80-90kph. And they are bombing down a hill.

Flat ground, you’re looking at some 45-50mph mopeds.

I think I need to learn the Superman layout and I’ll gain an easy 10+ MPH
