One thing I most love about mopeds is actually using them. Going to the store and shit ya know? What's your favorite factory/aftermarket/diy racks you've had or seen? These euro tomos ones are pretty wild and nifty.
Yeah, the HipHop was designed for the Slovenia Post Office, something like ~450 lbs luggage capacity on the APN6 motor models.
I love that bike, a shame they are not sold here. No idea it could carry that much, wow.
That's a tubeframe like a colibre.? Would the stuff all bolt up on a colibre frame hmmm...

Nothing like a Colibri at all.
Mono shock dual rail. Frame motor sub assembly. They didn't design too many parts that didn't cross.

A) It's dual rear shock.
B) There is no subframe.
I have worked on these bikes and seen them on the assembly line. I'm sure the only crossover you're getting is the controls and the motor (minus intake). Not even the wheels are cross-over parts.
I need a Grande. Why can’t I score a Grande in SE Washington or ID panhandle? Must get a grande.
That pug and trailer is like a dream to me.
They look like a cleaned up wavy modernized colibre frame without the plastics . a good set of luggage trunks would suffice the top loops on the rear I could make 2 gig metal boxes a third in top all I need now is a plague beak. And a fortune delivering stuff
The trailer was a Bell kiddo hauling bicycle trailer I dumpster dove, gutted the crapped out canvas and built the box for it.

I've seen a colibri, that's got square tube frame and a subframe. HipHop is round tube (like twice the size) and has a standard swing arm with disks front and rear. HUGE steer tube as well
I'm not putting 450 lbs in there..
The a3 stuff crosses over w later pre 2008 stuffs my longbench or a standard bucket
My ebrs adjust. Heck a Sachs swingarm would be the shizzat to run 17s with a footbrake. Add a kick start a35 Cali pipe and an amal. 19 chrome fenders bang my herc chrome tank and run it on the prima title...
Damn I had no idea they could haul that much. I wonder how wonky it must handle fully loaded though. I would die to have one here.
Also pug wit da trailer and sidecar? Ngl he do be looking very handy doe.
I used to have a Rally Sport just like this with a different seat. I loved the rack so much. Really pretty and elegant that flowed with the bike but totally functional. The side rack kept bags off the wheel. Spring loaded flap on top that is always a super nice touch. It even had a built in tool box at the back under the steal pan. (edited)
Someone post a pic of garelli ssxl with a front rack?
Or maybe any top tank for that matter. I have a magnum frame but hate how much the rear magnum rack sticks out.
Considering slapping a derbi pizza front on it to pick up small schtuff (fast food, post office runs, etc.)

Maybe consider a pair of saddle bags . Pretty cheap and easy on / off .
You could rig collapsible cup holders inside without too much trouble .
Motor cycle tool rolls that go in the front work as moped saddle bags.

Saddle bags still require part of the rear rack to bolt onto tho right.
Hmm.
Also i wouldnt mind a milk crate but there really isnt a place for it on a magnum unless you have a rear rack.

A lot a saddle bags get thrown over the seat . Held in place by the rider and then removed , full ...

You don't plan on any suspension travel ?

Possibly but the roads here are smooth as butter. Prolly could be full rigid np.
If i relocated the headlight (or found different headlight mounts) i can move the rack higher.
But this is free so why not.
Because your fork dust caps will be trash after the first slight bump .
Not to mention the tire rubbing on the rack .
I'd find another place for that rack . Maybe on a shelf ? ;)

Ouch.. You’re probably right tho. I will monitor the travel. I will keep thinking of other options.
Thanks for the input!

I don't mean to be down on the front rack idea , just real about what I see .
Let us know how it goes .
