Simonini pipe for my Honda pa50 II

I just recently purchased a simonini pipe for my Honda pa50II. I’m having trouble mounting it and I can’t seem to get it sealed up to the engine? There’s an air leak and I even put a new gasket in there and still leaks air out of there. Does anyone have one of these on there bikes and can help me/show me a video of your bike running with this system?

Have you checked to make sure you don't, for whatever reason, have a PA50i cylinder on this bike? The smaller exh outlet would stop you from ever sealing it correctly.

What cylinder do you have? There are two different sizes of gasket on treats, you might wanna get the oversize hobbit gasket

Re: Simonini pipe for my Honda pa50 II

Yea those pipes are neat but they don't fit worth a shit. Mine needed a fair but of muscle and very careful header positioning. The flange they use sucks and I went through several crush gaskets trying to get it right. I used the copper ones on treats and finally got it to seal up pretty well. Good luck

Re: Simonini pipe for my Honda pa50 II

In Europe the Hobbit is called a Camino and they have a few differences, the pipe is probably made for a Camino and not a Hobbit.

I do agree those things look goofy as heck. I would probably cut the stinger and mount the muffler to the subframe like a proma, then use a rubber coupler.

Who ever built that pipe should have used 45s instead of 90s .
