Hmm , C model ?
I had one way back . Looks about the same .
Been too many years but i looked in some books i have and they call that a 50/60 series..i had one simiular but didn't have the closed in back but had the full seat.it shows to be model 715 deluxe highlander...i got my 59 eagle out yesterday and made a round...they have a unique sound that you don't forget..yesterday going down main street brought back the memories
Your Eagle is a beauty , for sure . :)
^^too good looking to be yard art...
Yea i have ..had a friend that had one just like that ..they also made a 2 speed model that had the shift on the left side ...another friend of mine found the one like that one plus the eagle he had when we were kids and has both restored

No its roached and impossible to find parts for. I have a newer honda 80cc scooter that I want to body swap everything onto it. Started a few years ago but it's on the back burner now. I got to strip it down and fit the front. Shouldn't be to hard. Gonna leave it all rusty and ratty.
Sonny barger started riding on a cushman, I think a lotta that age crowd did, the pre-moped era's intro bike. Anyway it's made em super popular among the harley crowd. you find dudes cruising high custom high chrome cushmans and selling for several thousand. I do love em but they seem to command a big premium on name alone
Mopeds and cushmans were.both popular in the 50's..i started out with a mid 50's allstate moped ,then got a cushman step thru scooter...no age limit ,no license,or insurance required made them popular for kids until they got old enough to drive
Super interesting to hear about Barger doing that you’d think it would be a total ‘wimp’ move in that crowd. However, recently due to this thread particularly stoking the fires of my cravings for one of these I began to notice several videos of Harley dudes blasting on these during motorcycle rallies/festivals. Makes sense now
