I'm back after taking a 9 year moped hiatus. My first moped was a very pretty, stock, and slow sachs (Thread: Just bought 1st moped! 67 sachs). I just picked up a beautiful 1977 Lazer from Luis of NNR motorsports over in Brooklyn about a week ago.
Luis is a cool dude and super down to earth; check em out at @nnrmotorsports. She's bone stock (except for a bigger carb, mid bars and maybe a couple of other things) and even has the key for the tank and fork lock!
I'll probably mess with the gearing, get a turbo exhaust or an mlm people's pipe, 80cc polini kit, and bigger drum or possibly disc brakes. My buddies donated me riding gear and I've been blasting around nyc everyday for the last week or so and loving each minute of it.
