I've just re built a Garelli Katia with a 70cc Mallosi bore up kit. I'm wanting to time the engine before I start the jetting process.
If I'm correct the engines the same as the Garelli Noi.
I'm sure I'd seen somewhere that there is a scale print out to stick on the flywheel to help time it?
Ive seen the same for Puch mopeds but I'm struggling to find the print out.
Any help would awesome. Been In the UK nobodys interested in this stuff (edited)
There is a timing mark around the 3:00 mark on the cases near the transfer.
It's set to that at the moment. Do you think that's okay for a kitted bike?

Yes. I usually set all my Garelli's at 1.8mm btdc. I checked that mark on a couple of mine and it's exactly that.
