That is a crazy video,Ken! I rode TabPat's Puch years ago, a step thru, and it hit 55+ on a radar gun(but not with me on it). I thought it felt too squirrelly on my run and told him I thought the front wheel had some play.

But man, that little light bike would get with it. LOL!

One of my favorites as well. Picked one up in WV several months ago one of our prospects is slowly rebuilding it. Very excited to see it blasting. Still need the leg shields tho..

You can eject of a girly bike and just get off with a pulverized wrist instead of a full body pulverization. Hard left at speed front brake and lift right leg and step down on left you spin in place and the bike flings forward.

10x accidents after a decade or 2 it happens.

I am gonna say that the grande might be my favorite. Even over a ciao or a maxi.

Don't mean to burst your bubble..but if you think you actually "beat" a huge Harley (let's assume at least 1000cc, probably 1500?) With your kitted 2 speed moped, you're mistaken lol. Its nice to dream though. Even those el cheapo chinese 250cc Lifan motorcycles do 0-60 in like 6-7 seconds. Most large displacement Harley's will do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds. Pretty sure there isn't a moped among us that isn't liquid cooled with a scooter kit that would do anything close.

Check out my '77 earlier in this thread, well ex bike, sold it, but yeah, nothing classier than a 50v! Would still have, but too heavy to carry up the stair for winter storage... :(

Re: Best Looking Stock Moped, put in your 2 cents

Hard to beat a Motobecane or Motomarina Sebring. Just a great, super strong bike. This one's not mine, but I have a bunch of them.

In the 2nd photo, I like the Sebring better than the Puch.(edited)

None of those reasons apply to why it's the best looking.

Best looking available in the USA top tanks are prolly derbi laguna:

or garelli monza:

I love how the motor is cradled in the frame. If you're tryna look like a motorcycle you should go all the way.

But I also love these Mobylette's with legshields:

and this was probably cool looking stock as well but can't find a picture. L'Avenir moped. Leading fork, triangle headlight, lovely round tank:

Re: Best Looking Stock Moped, put in your 2 cents

Yes it is more motorcyclish! Looking than most mopeds.

Re: Best Looking Stock Moped, put in your 2 cents

Looks like a good top end pipe on it!
