ive put ten thousand miles on my stock a35 sprint and im bored to tears with it. Im starving for a bit of power before i give up on it so im gonna be looking for someone in the ohio area obviously trustworthy with moped skills to put on a kit 65ccto70cc and the treatmetric clutch from treatland so i wont lose interest in mopeddin for a few more years. I understand that the kit ive put top ends on motocross bikes. Its the tomos transmission!! I don't know didley about the trans and i havint got any tools to pull clutch aka bell and replace. I could put on the kit myself i guess and throw the rabbit in my truck and drive 2 hours 1 way just to listen to the old moped shop man criticise me for why do i need to alter my moped. Smh. I agree. And i have to remember to grind down the bolts on the back of jammer clutch so it doesn't hangup on the bell i heard as well. Gonna be fun gotta remember shims correct position as well.
Hey Mark , these guys know what they're talking about. Number one you'd be lucky to find someone to kit your moped. Two once you start on it yourself, you won't quit. I've started this addiction bout two years ago, not knowing anything and just enough now to take care of my mopeds. But I still come in asking questions that seem dumb, funny, or head scratching to some. So if I can do it, you can. (edited)

I agree with you pat i have seen alot of your conversation and comments i know you know mopeds in and out. I weigh 185 6ft and stock a35 is poopy but dependable i agree. Ive learned alot this passed 2 years and ten thousand miles. Ive rebuilt the stock top end 2 times and on my 3rd pipe and just put a new carb on. I have confidence in breaking in a 65cc kit. I would do the start and cool technique and drive her easy few hundred miles. I broke in a stock cylinder and new piston and rings a few hundred miles ago and the piston and bore are smooth and pristine. I think i might do the kit ill make sure i run it rich through a long break in and cool down. I don't drag race or mistreat my moped. I think it will be a good thing. Thanks man.
Yeah im gonna go ahead and do it. Im attached to my tomos a35. Ive put 4000.00 dollars in parts on her the passed 2 years its my hobby. Ive rebuilt her top end twice no problem. Im gonna do it. Probably 65cc airsal kit with jammer 1st gear clutch from treatland. I don't drag race or mistreat my moped. I just need extra pulling up few slightly upgraded streets in my town. After i put new shocks and struts on the front of my truck its on lol.
Also Mark you're only 1 hour away from Columbus. I know there's a moped group there. You could reach out to them for a little supervision. As long as your using your own hands most people will watch you to make sure you don't make a rookie mistake. (edited)
$4,000 on parts for one tomos? What the heck did you buy? I'm genuinely curious. I think $1000 in parts could keep a tomos going indefinitely.

Seat from treats tank. Few different handlebars. Tubes. Tires. Different headlights. New carb. 2 used cylinders mjy learned lessons though warn cylinders waste pistons. Went through lots brake cables over passed 2 years 3 sets. Bought different brake lights. Ive got all receipts from treatland moped junk yard and dennyllc. Com $3500.00 just randomly working on my bike staying interested. Never kitted always stock. Thinking now its time for power done trying to keep it looking brand new and nice. It needs to pull better. Im gonna get to it but ill make sure to be careful and seek video's /advice because ill hate myself if i trash it. Im a bit of a perfectionist i think it will be reliable and bit stronger than stock when done correctly.
I beat up a kit about 4 years wear. I am sure with blueprinting you can stretch it. Expansion chamber is the pricey item. Up to 30% of your power.matching pipe with carb/cylinder. Kits are cheap. It still displaces 49cc unless you mod the case to match kit/carb/intake or Change stroke .
A race engine will last 2 races avg.
You can lean it out to get more power cap dome piston work ringlands make aux boost ports. Dial in timing ratio and spark heat.

Can't i just use my 1412 dellorto and intake with a 65cc airsol cylinder and large jet with my 26-20 gearing and just treat it like a baby and have power just to pull me around town on flat surface streets 45 mph??

Even gearing on the sprockets front rear taller for torque. You need more air. Slight carb upgrade. Put like a 74 jet in ditch airbox hi flow air filter. Re bore top hole in down tube slightly larger. Run a flat slider use adjusters to set idle ditch idle screw. It will give it mid range and make it like a 14 14 sorta kinda pre mix on safe side . better safe then splattered . ..
26 26 gearing for hills and such..
I only have 1 hill in my whole town that stands between me and my place. I want to keep the 26 20 gearing for top end. Can i put a decent airsol 65cc cylinder on my bike? Mjy says its compatible with 2004 a35

Its all bolt and go. The exhaust ports can be angled and intake may be needed. Depending on kit.
Oh yeah i forgot to tell you my a35 says A52 right on the case halves. )) )so that's good news then for 64cc airsol kit? Right

I have seen a few puchs that were radical looking in a good way. If i met someone with a wicked lookin cafe style puch and that person wanted my tomos i would consider it. But only consider because im a loyal tomos guy.
They will work as a replacement for the 49cc Oem cylinder. The performance gains are from the pipe and carb upgrades...
i believe that. And guess what i found? i looked underneath by my exhaust port and were the cylinder and case meet it was all wet with oil last night. I took it apart and it was so leaky looking and the gasket is new. I just put it on few weeks ago. Its a black gasket kinda hardish looking like kevlar i scraped it off and it would bend like it was a hybrid paper /metal i bet that is why it didn't seal. I had a new light tan a35 base gasket put it on torqued it correctly and i got more compression from the feel of it with my foot than i could remember in the 2 years ive had my bike. So i think the tan thin a35 gasket must be best for it. Im gonna ride it tomorrow and report back to you about it.
And im taking that dmp cylinder off and putting oem factory iron cylinder back on with biturbo. Because ive lost power and some speed since i put stock pipe and the dmp cylinder /piston on.
Both with the kit. And gearing it would be faster than you want a moped to go.
i put the 22 tooth rear back on yesterday. Im running 26-22 again now i have low end power back.
