Okay, while trying to solve one problem I found this. It’s rounded out and won’t catch . I’m going to rob one from my Grande. Hope this solves the starting problem.
classic. this happens all the time on vespas, its just a shit design combined with under-torquing from the factory.
clean up and weld it on there, still can access bits by taking off the inside plate.
woof, yea that's all too familiar. I've had success welding it, and before I could weld I'd just buy a new one.
Swapped out the variator. Then set Bravo out on the driveway peddled,decompression, DAMN! She kicked over first time! The Olympia kit was just what I needed. Breaking it in easy no WOT for awhile,I gotta look up how many miles. Just in time ,61*
