the bush on my paloma clutch is worn and needs replacing. the manual says its a self lubricating bush and i have seen oillite bushes for sale that would do the job
they are dry running because the starter clutch and the drive clutch are nearby.
only at idle will the crank spin and the pulley remain still with the bush/bearing allowing this rotation. and maybe as i accelerate there will be slight;ly different speeds
so its not gonna be spinning very often or very fast.
so can i replace the bush with loose needle rollers and a dab of grease sandwiched between two washers to keep the clutch shoes dry? or would caged rollers be better or require lubing too much?
i can post pics of the set up or a blow up of the clutch
