As far as cost, it's bout the same (brand-to-brand) to do basic bearings/seals/gaskets/rings. The sky's the limit from there, no mater what brand you're trying to take to that 60mph level.

SERIOUSLY, Richard is exactly the guy you want to rebuild your motor (he's also a lot of fun to hang out and party with), he does it like it's going to have a life of 100k miles. He did my Sabre motor and it's as smooth as (I'm sure) it was brand new.
I have now spent a couple vacation stints with Richard as a guest/moped-building partner, and my own skills/knowledge have elevated to another level.
I agree with Mr Roff, He's a real treasure to the vintage moped/bike "cult". If the know-it-all brats that can't use a torque wrench would stop frustrating him, maybe he'll continue to share his skills for years to come.
