Not the cateye. The Limited and some ups magnums came with factory signals, different wiring and the left switch is the signal switch. They were equipped with a battery/flasher/control box under the right side cover.

Thanks Sirclip. I actually have a ulo box that came with a kreidler mp19. Same as the one you pictured but doesn't seem to have the correct space terminals.

hey john, are you looking to see the inner guts of the ulo or just how its mounted on a magnum?

cause it appears only one plug on the ulo is used (edited)

heres what ive got when taking a closer look

it appears to have two green wires into the plug on the left (which goes into the ulo)

and heres the cooresponding ulo plugs

when inserted, the yellow wires should be toward the front of the ulo box

those are the only green wires i can see right now but i'll wheel it outside and try to get a better look

Looks like maybe that dual green is suppose to go to a single green from the stator :

I should have clarified that I have obtained the correct ulo box from another brown magnum. I took both apart and can see more electronic parts in the magnum box as opposed to the kreidler box. I'm currently seeing if the batteries will take a charge but I will probably get another battery pack made. Thanks for all the help! When I actually put it all together I will see what's up with my 2 green wires.

I may add signals to my UPS mag, Other than putting a cateye set up on it I’m gonna take the cateye set up and put part of it inside since I already have the right left switch control (edited)

Did you ever get a battery pack fir the turn signals made?

I have #003,,, bought it new when I was 15 in 1981...

I have a similar setup on a Jawa. Same battery pack. I have it working without the battery but it doesn't have the current capacity to function when the brake light is on. The battery cells are common and on eBay and Amazon.
