I’m jealous ! well I’m not so much now but up to a few years ago that’s how my wife and I wanted to retire because one of my best friends parents growing up had a 440 dodge powered Winnebago they used seven months out of the year and went to different campgrounds and such with him as well as with me then me and my future wife,
We thought it was so cool having cookouts, all night acoustic jam singing sessions fishing, campground motorbikes but now you have to watch where you’re going there’s a lot a not so nice people around!
I owned a boat for 14 years and I was thinking on living in a cabin cruiser also but I live in semi resort community past few decades which was great until a few years ago when all the farms sold out and now everything’s over built beyond belief except for where I live they can’t build do to the parks, woods and Lake,
The only thing is that I wish January and February and early March were a bit warmer and they would keep the lake at full height instead of 3 foot lower from November to end of March which I have no idea why they lower it there’s never a problem for some years it doesn’t even freeze over, you’re allowed to fish on it year-round so why make it lower so you hit ground in some spots for basically no reason,
I guess for my final retirement now I would like to have a 50-60 acre plot of land near where I live now with my own lake, my own little dirt/four wheel trail and keep a few hey burner/barnyard animals around,
