Here's those fanned supports. If you draw them 0.4mm and print them with a 0.4mm nozzle, they'll be 1 layer thick and easy to remove. Also, have the printer skip the last layer between the face and the fan - it'll help it break away. This is a great trick for printing overhung surfaces. The result of doing this, is no support material exposed when these are installed, so they look nice on the outside.
