I bought an old shop. Tons of NOS plastic pieces, fork rebuilds, fittings, engine stuff etc AV7 engines out the wazoo
Lots of bins with part numbers on them I have to sort through and figure out what they are.
So what are some specialty Motobecane tools I need to know about. I am going to make them because it's what I do but what are some basic life saver ones?
Joel, what kind of help are you looking for?
What are you planning for all that stuffs? (edited)
You sir are fucked (edited)
You lucky/cursed human you! What a haul, I envy you, I don't have the space for such fun...you should be able to make some $ selling parts and get some classics on the road! There is a lot of Motobecane info on the wiki, and get a hold of Rebel Moby, he is in Canada as well, and knows a Ton, (metric) ;) about the marque!
You'll do fine if yer a glutton for punishment.LOL!

^^^^^ this.....
WOAH what a haul. Well done indeed.
Specialty tools - truarc (circlip) pliers for the variator - 24x1.00 and 26x1.00 puller for cam and clutch - french nut driver for fork top fitting - french nut driver for ignition coils on some of the Novi 120x that use the french nut instead of the nylocs on the coils. Get a #72 hose clamp (BG shyter pipe hose clamp at HomeHardware plumbing section) to help hold the flywheel while you remove the Novi nut.
You can PM me a list of item numbers off the baggies to help identify some of the stock in the frenchie little bags.
SO EXCELLENT - just in case any asks - the frenchie bikes commercially imported to CanadaLand were to France domestic specs, so they are all 50km/h (30mph rated) and none of that master switch BS.

Sent you a PM with some asks
I think it's one of the signs of the Apocalypse I'm glad I didn't get involved in this....
I noticed some of these bad bois have 90kph speedos, lol. I think one mph bike in the mix.
I plan on fixing and slinging a few try and get a rigid and a softie for free out of the deal. Who knows tho.
Got a VLX?
I actually miss my old one...
So what is the price of a box full of an engine just Assemble?
I haven't seen any crank bearings or piston kits... lots of gaskets though.. cylinder studs, small end bearings... Stubby and long intake manifolds.
All the AV7 are ran, and in various states of ripped apart. so it wouldn't be like a NOS motor..
So I don't think I have enough to have a build your own engine kit here...
I could definitely throw together what should be a runner in parts.
Runner box...
Nice find! Process of elimination start by throwing away all the Gurtner carcasses !!!
I believe the Mars Luxus is a rebadged Solo.
Indeed, it is a rebadged Solo 712

Good lord. I think you need some help. Hire a kid from the neighborhood and make the payment a learn as they go moped.

I would die. What the hell u gonna do?
Dare I even ask how much you paid to destroy your own sanity?
Those white tail lights are pretty slick!
