Thanks Everyone for your input. I took a closer look at the air filter and found the problem. Since it was not quite connected to the carburetor, a little, or should I say a lot, of noise was escaping. I can't figure out how to reconnect the air filter, so I'll just bring my ped to the mechanic again, and have him put it on.
