I'm not sure but maybe I bought this as a six volt regulator. I'm uncertain but want to add a voltage regulator so as not go through another cev 6 volt headlight.
1. Anybody recognize this
2. Anybody with an idea which lead is which ??
Thanks Todd. A couple of questions. 1. The yellow wire I assume is the the hot wire to lighting. Is it ac or DC ?
2. The wire that goes to the positive of the battery...is it any particular voltage ie six volt vs 12 v battery.
3. Can u skip the yellow output and run DC off the battery??
4 is this a six volt thing or any low voltage u choose to hook up?
Anyway I ordered a six volt lead acid battery and will hook it up Todd's way and measure what comes out. Thanks again Todd.
On the bravo the battery and rectifier has nothing to do with the head/tail light. It's only for the turn signals. You probably blew one light which caused the other to blow.
@ Stephen ...my bravo doesn't have turn signals or a battery. It's a two coil not a three coil build. So the battery I would add is not part of turn signal , it's what this reg/rectifier requires if Todd has it right. I'll post what it does and doesn't do when I get it and hook it up. The trail tech five wire for 12 v likewise requires a battery as an election sink.
