Also working on tank preservation. Coated the outside with phosphoric acid/dichromate mixture which turns iron oxide ( rust) into iron phosphate which hardens and is paintable. Cleans up with water. Inside of tank is nice. Other than blowing it out with compressed air we're good to go.
