Way back in the day Negrinis were very popular in South Florida, almost as popular as Puchs. They were great bikes with Morini engines. For one thing the build was very solid. Much more so than the Puchs. Most people had the Harvard but there was a budget model too. They would do up to 35 mph stock but everyone said they sucked to mod but it wasn't true because I had one and modded it and got close to 60 mph. I just ported it big as I could, bored out the intake, slapped on a YZ80 carburetor and an expansion chamber of unknown origin and was surprised and happy when it fired up on the very first kick after the mods. Got clocked at 58 mph.
