If you build anything for your moped I would suggest to overbuild - such as anticipate everything getting 4 or 5 times the punishment - to make sure nothing you add fails and you have the embarrassment of things coming loose or the danger of things coming off.

You dont want to be the next person with acid burns from an unsecured battery or be that guy with failed brakes at speed or the gal with dysfunctional handlebars at a corner.

HOWEVER

Now I suggested some sort of warning/disclaimer, it is great to create things for our rides and install them. I have cobbled stuff like additional curved mirrors to mount under clubman bars to camping trailers and sidecars. Very much goodly fun.

Box itself is metal but the door is plastic. Ha, I'd love to do a Grande Build and have decals made saying "Big Wasp". If your a chosen one, you will have been blessed with buying a bike with the beefy chrome rack.

I love dumb DIY accessories, but this was probly the most DIY accessorized I got:

Legshields from old oil barrel

.

Mega-drink accessory for having drinks and rides. big straw, big quench - club CHILL

.

Trailer hitch mount for towing bicycle

it had underseat storage, it had the old oil tank as a spare gas storage bolted to the frame, later had a big old typical milk crate and a toolkit that mounted to the spare tank. it had everything and more - a mobile party, very ready for basically everything. but it didnt go in the water. so i traded it for a boat

I just found foot pegs for my Targa I have a kick-start motor that I haven't used because I don't have any foot pegs and I found this on a three wheeler kids bike...

The kid cried a little bit when I grabbed it actually I was being thrown out and it was right in front of my house I also felt like I was losing Direction in my life and I asked God for a sign...

It broke in some construction guy just left it there

Spray paint helps it look better lol. My welds were terrible but thankfully the grinder helped clean it up a bit and then the paint. I also fixed the lettering so it looks a little cleaner. Mine is made out of some 16 gauge steel and welded on some coupling nuts. I then used some rubber washers to with some button head allen bolts. How did you make yours?

How did you make yours? Benjamin- Leftover piece of black aluminum flashing from my house siding job. Cut the arcs from one piece, with mounting tabs, then folded it in half and riveted it closed. Shimmed it up a little so it wouldn't dig into plastic fender when driving.

My favorite are found things I found a Case Logic fanny pack that fits around my targa seat and provides under tank storage. I found a first aid kit bag that holds my roadside toolkit under the seat...a sheath for a weatherman has the 2 piece sparkwrench with an extra plug...

Then there are MacGyver's parts intakes cobbled from soda dispensers handle bar parts dishwasher coupler. The magic of wear a bolt on spigot mount technoestril opentop. The pipe mounting screws are all tight they bottom perfectly the flange worked loose so it can move but not bend break or work loose any farther... it took me almost 10 years to find a pipe that would stay on
