Best option oil on amazon

What premix oil would you recommend? Prefer 1 gallon and synthetic options

Looking at so far: lucas semi-synthetic, motul 800, maxima k2, royal purple hp 2-C, red line racing, tribodyn synthetic

Has to be sold on AMAZON!

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Ipone. Stinks nicely. Syrupy sweet strawberry scent.

Lucas semi synthetic at $30 ish a gallon is probably the best stuff you'll find for the price. API/JASO rated, really good oil.

No! you’re so inexperienced it’s not funny!

In two years you an expert now, Not!

I probably got in three months more miles on a moped than you have in your entire life So please don’t Post things about your tiny little amount of moped experience to other people so they don’t mess up their bikes,

Walmart two cycle synthetic motor oil is 10 times better for less then 2 $ for 6.2 oz But I like Polaris full synthetic 2t oil because it meets the requirements of oil injection as well as pre-mix and higher ratios than 50 to 1,

The last 2 quarts of Polaris synthetic 2t oil I got for $11 shipped on the Internet but I still run Walmart 2t 6 oz synthetic oil at less then 2$ For 6.2 oz Including tax on most bikes,

You Seem like a good guy But If you don’t post no more It would be better off because you know hardly knowanything about much not to mention you don’t have factory tools or experience!

if you want me to dig up your posts as a beginner and post them I will because I helped you to as much as I did for several people!

When you get 10 or 12 years on a build and the bike still runs then let us know otherwise! just shush !

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Paging will daloz for some science on why lucas isn't great oil.

The real answer is that 99% of the time it doesn't matter because these are just dumb mopeds, so buy some oil locally and don't support amazon.

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Why on earth would you mail order oil? Just go to the store.....geez.

Re: Best option oil on amazon

vote for motul 800 from me, it's the thickest syrupy oil i've used, but really clean out the exhaust at 45:1

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Brad William /

I wouldn't offer it up, since doing so just starts ANOTHER FUCKING OIL THREAD... but now that it's been asked....

...I tried some echo "red armor" since I was on the road, needed oil, and home depot was right there on the horizon. Decent grade oil is oil is oil is oil. Tried, literally, dozens of them by now. Haven't a clue how good this is for protection, which is the most important thing of course. But this stuff is remarkably clean. Waay more than anything I've ever used. No smoke. I mean none. Weird. Never really seen that. I went ahead and tried it 35:1. Which is convenient since it's one bottle per tank on my puch. Still... no smoke. Not even any smell. A slightly sweet smell maybe, but hardly there.

The worst oils for smoke seem to be the dirt cheapest regular stuff and the marine duty. The full synth stuff burns pretty clean. I have no idea what this red armor is synth or regular stock. It's red and transparent. Pretty viscous stuff. Still can't believe how clean it burns. Wish it wasn't so stupid expensive for an off the shelf echo brand product. Fuck, it's more than the most premium 2 cycle oils per quart on the internet. For that reason I won't keep using it. Just thought I'd weigh in here.

Re: Best option oil on amazon

I use Amazon very sparingly , only when I have to .

Anyway , I run Lucas because it has proven to me to be very good oil .

I run the snot out of my FA50 . Like a lot of guys , WOT , most of the time .

The FA50 has injection and never a problem .

The Simplex is premix and also , never a problem .

I do run Walmart oils in our motor home and Envoy .

I can't say about their 2T oil , but , their Super Tech motor oils are highly rated .

Re: Best option oil on amazon

I’m buying on amazon because my brother is paying for it plus there are more options (synthetic) and in gallon forms....

Thx for the advice anyways

Shut the fuck up, Ken. Brandon builds proper bikes regularly instead of posting the same videos of his maxi and magnum from 2004 every 5 minutes.

Brandon was offering an option as per the request of the OP, why you find it necessary to attack his credibility is ludicrous when you've been touting the same stock information blurb since I started mopeds 8 years ago. "My MaGnUm RuNs FuLl AdVaNcE tImInG aNd LaStS fOr A dEcAdE"

Of course it does, you ride it 10 miles a year, you bozo.

Keep your dated "tuning information" and seeming agist prejudices to the WALMART appreciation forums.

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Canola oil makes my moped smell like breakfast

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Brandon Weiss (Detective brandon to you) /

Also, I might add, the OP asked for oil available on AMAZON, as far as I know you can't get WALMART oil on AMAZON....

Read what you're responding to before your click "post" ken.

And regardless of the OP's request, I can't believe you would have such an explosive response because you happen to think that Supertech is better for the money than Lucas. They're both good oils. Can you prove to me with your hard anecdotal evidence that Lucas is inferior? No? Ok. Is it objective that Lucas, at $30 a gallon, and it's manufacturer stamps of approval, and endless positive reviews, is an excellent choice and one of the best available on AMAZON at that price? YES? Ok.

I'd say in 2 years, I've learned and experienced enough to have the right to share my opinion on the internet without misinforming anybody or leading anyone in the wrong direction. And I only open my mouth when I'm confident of that. So, get off your high horse.

Erica Shoffstottle /

I’ve heard mixing 1TBSP landolakes helps the viscosity of oil weight, do you recommend another brand?

As long as you get it from Walmart

Re: Best option oil on amazon

16oz is supertech at Walmart is $5.37

I can buy a gallon of Lucas off eBay for around $30.

1gallon=128oz

128oz= 8 supertechs 8x$5.37=$42

I save about twelve bucks buying a gallon and it’s probably more consistent because it’s all the same bottle and I don’t have to drive to Walmart 8 times!

Ever 3 gallons I get a free basically

Re: Best option oil on amazon

does vape juice count?

Re: Best option oil on amazon

I just cant get my head around mail ordered oil.....unless you are building a race bike any 2 stroke will do, Yama lube is good stuff, Castrol is too, and you don't have to wait. Hardware, auto parts store, or motorcycle shop.

I buy more oil before I run out completely. Mail order? Dude eBay with quick two-three day shipping.

It’s here before you know it! Especially with amazon priMe!

Re: Best option oil on amazon

campeona del mundo /

im not a fan of lucas due to its extremely low viscosity...i have ran it a bunch with no ill effect though.

motul 510 has always been a favorite because it's super cheap and performs like it's 710.

that being said i have completely given up on on caring about oil as of approximately 3 years ago and will run whatever comes my way

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Thanks for the advice. Went with a quick $3 bottle of Lucas for now, will be going amazon in future.

Ran the bike for around 15 minutes then it dies on me. Now it only acts like it’s trying to start when I kick start. Thoughts?

Why wait any days? Take it home from the store with you when you buy it? Whatever does it for ya I guess...

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Dirty30 Dillon /

Because you you don't get home from work until 6:30, and by the time you get to feed and walk the dog, and grab a bite it's too late to get to the nearest home depot/autozone.

Perfectly viable option if you don't have a convenient schedule.

Re: Best option oil on amazon

Gas stations with 7/11’s have 2t oil every time. Pretty much just use that, mystic outboard oil or master pro sport from o reily. I’ve never had issues from cheap oil.

Re: Best option oil on amazon

^ me either, the worst oil today is better than the best when these bikes were made.
