that's 3 ac wires going into one dc. each stator has 2 wires. the third phase is the two stator coils ungrounded and connected to each other. you don't need to ask your method is spot on. you know what you are doing. never said you didn't. you just used a wrong name.
the term you use is dead wrong. also you need to rectify first then regulate. I use generic honda scoot parts that cost under 4$ to do 2 phase like yours. adding ac stators happens at the rectifier. all my electrical upgrades use knockoff honda electical parts. they are cheap and once you know the wiring colors you can't screw it up.
pics you ask for. sorry turn signals are off. no battery, slow idle. yes that's dog crap on the front wheel. the turn signals are integrated to the headlight. the rear turn signals are 1156 cob yellow led's. as far as I know this is the only honda twin with full lights running a capacitor. its totally modern on an antique. starts easily one kick with the lights on.
