What upgraded exhaust works Mo-2 Moroni 1978

Charlie Dereuil /

I have a 1978 2 speed scorpion. I’ve topped my speed at 29 mph.

I have the stock exhaust but was told to get a chamber exhaust.

What fits on a Morini Mo-2 right side exhaust?

MK3 but the rear mount is in a terrible location.

MLM Peoples pipe. Good all around pipe but might need to you extend your rear mount as it was setup for sebring sizing.

Have not used it but a number of people like the bigger Cali pipe.

Or you could go side bleed.

Thanks. The people’s pipe cost more than my moped! Is drilling and/or modifying my existing exhaust pipe a waste of time?

Re: What upgraded exhaust works Mo-2 Moroni 1978

Puch pipes work pretty easy

Re: What upgraded exhaust works Mo-2 Moroni 1978

Puch exits other side. How does that fit easily on a Scorpion?

hahaha they always cost more than the bike in my experience as well. for the upgraded performance of 5 to 8mph sometimes doesn't seem worth it. do a search for exhaust mods. go to buy/sell, and post ad wtb cheap chamber. then hack it to your header.......mlm made in america. devon does his home work producing these pipes. they sound awesome, look great, and you'll feel the difference. but its just mopeds...you've got a nice looking bike. it needs a nice looking exhaust, or not....

Make a bracket, I had a maligutti mo2 with a puch techno hunter on it and it ripped dongs. cleared pedals and kickstand too.

^ bam there ya go.

Re: What upgraded exhaust works Mo-2 Moroni 1978

Kickstand problem? I wouldn't want my pipe on the left. `Course I don't like ANYTHING on the LEFT! LOL!

The MK3 pipe is a kickstand problem on Pacers. The mounting bracket is right were the kickstand is connected and does like to install with the kickstand spring. ugh. Not a fan of the MK3 on pacers.
