I would walk it across the Brooklyn Bridge. It has dedicated walking lanes. No chance of getting smushed by something larger.
Take pics of your adventure.

I am not walking a moped across the Brooklyn bridge , its too long of a walk too many people and crazy cyclist on Sunday and I am pretty sure i saw sign that said no mopeds allowed, granted it was probably meant someone driving a moped but I dont wanna get started.
Is it really a big deal going over the bridge ? it doesn't really seem that way ?
Metal grates on bridges ain't for smallish tires.
The metal meshes in FL drawbridges are best negotiated by a long zigzag pattern.
most bridges if not all bridges going from Brooklyn to Manhattan do not have metal meshe roadways they have asphalt , is there issues with high wind?
Just take the Williamsburg bridge and call it a day
Seems like you just want to argue with everyone about how knowledgeable you are about bridges even tho you asked the question originally.
Oh, didnt realize it I was arguing or showing off.

Nah you're good, don't listen to him
whatever, walk it ride it i dont care
just dont take the manhattan
All Bridges are safe. Hold your lane and don't be timid. Don't ride a stuck moped in Manhattan bridge into Brooklyn—the joints will eat tires
Maybe a ferry across?
