$50 hobbit modified before and after
1979 pa50 hobbit. I drove 10 hours to get it out of a horse stall in Wisconsin. Power washed it clean then started hacking. My first moped. I got it running with 1/4 kick real nice that I traded it for 2 hobbit motors. My buddy gave me the tank, I hacked it all up too, lots of time looking at things I like. Cool thread dudes!

Duuuude! That is Magnificent. just sold one in close to that shape, only reason mine was sexier was it had leg shields, but that bike is a thing of beauty, I miss mine, but did not have the tools or place to do the minor work it needed, so sold it to a rider who would. ( Red Moby's are superior to all others) don't question....it is written. :)

I picked up a free FA50. It was first person to get it out of Toms truck. About a 15 minute ride into south city and it was mine! Woohooo got a free one!! Oh wait not this shit agaiN
One time the neighbor threw out a load of steel tubes and pipes. I looked at 90’s BMX bikes then borrowed a frame to copy the angles and tube lengths. A bmx like I had when I was a kid..
build it around the express motor so that was easy, then I made it hard by doing other shit but I’ll need a few more minutes to finish it ha!
The wheels were 14” on the Express so I bought the puch 16” mags with bicycle tires.

Looks awesome! I wanted to try 17” mags on an Urban but couldn’t keep it together. The puch rims 14”, 16”, or 17” that WillJ sells fit with some hacking to the hubs.

Cady came to me as a gift when I as getting a couple of parts Mobys. The person selling me the parts bikes challenged me to rescue it. It had been run over by tractor (maybe more than once) it was quite twisted up and lots missing. Also had a box of bits n pieces from it that were not so goodly at all.
Same Cady many hours later after straighting the frame, squirt of paint, throwing together some pieces parts, adding series 50 forx, AV7 mild ported engine with linear counter spring...

Old jailing hobbit clone I got from a old guy that flips tow yard trash scooters named "the scooter man"
Did a stretch with some help from Tommy buzzard when he lived in Richmond. Ripped on it rat style for a bit and just gave it a face lift. I'm about to rebuild the motor again.
Forgot the best part. I have a matching fit. Including a safety yellow hobbit shirt.

Picked up a robin all blacked out with stickers on it.
Rubbed all the black paint off with gasoline, rebuilt the engine, all new wiring, greased bearings, rebuilt forks, headset bearings, wider tires, taller shocks, hogged the transfers and casematched.
Rips pretty good for a stocker.
