Cost > Reliability > Speed - Newport77 (carbs)

Got a Newport 77 but the carb needs replacing. Was looking to buy a bing 15mm (about a $100 on treats)but I’m looking to see if there are cheaper options out there. Reliability is my most important factor though.

If reliability is the most important factor pay the $100. Sure you can buy the clones for $25-$30 off eBay and I have but they're not close to the OEM. They'll leak and aren't made near as well.

how bads the carb?

unless its totally rusted out ya probably could reuse it if you're trying to learn how they work

otherwise 100% totally get the OG bing!

i recently cheaped out and got a clone from treats and the thing pissed gas IMMEDIATELY after putting it on

I'm in San Jose and have a SHA that might help. It came off a 77 Newport. It needs a air cleaner
