Yep.

In fact thats how I started using Hondabond and Suzukibond 30 years ago. They were listed in service manuals with parts numbers and recommended use on engine cases without gaskets.

The stuff worked on anything and didnt peel or come loose like rtv.

Silicone is ok for windows, doors and showers but not reaking havoc inside a motor.
