So many people have trashed their clutch cover and busted up the magnets on their flywheel trying to devise a method to not purchase a clutch/flywheel puller for their Moby.

Here is how to make a home made puller:

Purchase some 28mm hex steel bar stock and a M10x1.5-60 bolt.

Cut a piece 6cm long

On your lathe turn down one end to 26mm for 2cm of its length

Cut a M26x1.00 thread into this portion of the piece

Turn down the other end to 24mm for 2cm of its length

Cut a M24x1.00 thread into this portion of the piece

Bore the entire piece of bar stock to 8.7mm

Tap the bore to M10x1.5

Case harden the new puller so it lasts for multiple jobs

OR

Cough up 15$ for one of these
