If I somehow neatly cut the ring off the Stanley oem 6 volt headlight and glue it or something to the Larsen led tractor light and stop needing to mollest shitty LEDs I will be striking a major blow into next level hobbitry. The ring is 108 mm and the Larsen is 114 mm diameter so maybe one break open of the ring and voila. Not quite sure how to do it. Dremmeled a hole but way too not safe and controlled. Suggestions ?

Hack saw or saws-all all the way around.

Do a couple of inches at a time while rotating. Dont try to cut off in one single cut. I suppose and angle grinder with a cutting wheel coupd work too.

Finish off rough edges with Dremel. (edited)
