Tomos streetmate r problem

I was on my way home a few days ago, and started hearing a clanking noise from what I thought was my front sprocket. If i went under 5mph the noise disappeared. I limped it as far as I could until the back wheel locked up. If you push the moped backwards a few feet you can push it forward for about 10-15 feet before it locks up again. Has anyone had a similar issue and found a solution? Thank you

Transmission is borked. Could be caused by bad crank bearings or any number of other things.. Remove the chain to push it around. Time to disassemble and assess the damage.

check if your rear brake hib is in the swingarm slot.

Goodwin Pat but seriously from the sound of it either throughout a clutch shoe or your claw collar spring fell out of the hole in the center of the cases it could have happened when you took a pedal off or it could be just where on the internal washers
