Qt50 won’t start

On cold start it starts up easy but after 15 secs of being on it dies out and won’t start again! (edited)

Is it flooding?

Re: Qt50 won’t start

Try this first: As soon as the engine dies turn the fuel tap OFF. Then position a small container under the bike directly beneath the carburetor float bowl drain line. Now unscrew the float bowl drain screw and let the bowl's contents flow into the container so you can see how much fuel is remaining in the bowl. Please report your results.

Warm seal leak or electronic

Re: Qt50 won’t start

i had a stock qt act this way and it ended up being the little petcock filter in the gas tank was clogged up. On cold start the engine would fire up but shortly after would die. Wouldn’t restart unless you let it sit for a long period of time or you violently shook the entire bike... Removed the cock filter, cleaned tank and threw an inline filter on the fuel line..... rode it to the moon
