roadside insurance coverage

I had to get motorcycle insurance in order to register my moped because It goes over 25mph. As an option I paid an extra $10.00 a year for roadside assistance coverage.

Does anyone know if using the roadside assistance would cause my rates to go up next year? I know AAA has good coverage but I never used motorcycle insurance for roadside coverage before.

Re: roadside insurance coverage

From what insurance company did you get "Roadside assistance coverage" and what does it cover?

The only way you could get AAA Motorcycle roadside coverage is by getting RV coverage because then it covers motorbikes scooters and such that are usually on the back of an RV

Captain Janeway /

It didn't bump mine. I've only used it once. I don't know why it should bump your rate. My was an engine blowout not an accident I filed any kind of claim on.

Re: roadside insurance coverage

I used roadside assistance when my dumbass locked myself out of my truck and it didn't bump up my rate
