78 Honda Hobbit - will not start

Joshua Houseworth /

Had it up and running for about a month. Took it out for a spin today for 20 minutes, came home and kept it running to adjust air/fuel screw, and it kicked off. When I pedaled to restart, there’s little resistance to turn it over - it’s almost as if it’s in between bike mode and moped mode. What could this be?

Yeah, check the decomp valve

Re: 78 Honda Hobbit - will not start

It could be the de-comp...I didn't realize people used them, I never have, seems easy to turn over without. Check the lever for bike mode, could have gotten bumped when working on it, cycle it once.
