Peugeot 103 - Colour choices?

Simon Hovedskou /

Hello everyone,

Working on a project with a rigid Peugeot 103 moped, and I am thinking of a few ideas.

Right now, I'm not sure it I want to restore and keep it more or less stock or if I should modify the design to look a bit like a scrambler / bobber bike.

Do any of you know what original colours you could get the 103 in?

I have also had a crazy idea of making a brushed steel look to the frame and just ad a transparent coating along with some matte black touches to give it a rough look.

Do you think it could be done, and do you think it would make a good look? (edited)

Re: Peugeot 103 - Colour choices?

My vote would always be keep it original, just clean it up and leave the old patina. But it's your bike, your money, your time- do it up your way and have fun.

Keep it original and stock the girls like them that way.

The beige color is called Persian Ivory.

The official colors are in the parts manual.
