Taking a break from the QT50 challenges. Went to North Jersey today and brought home this 1998 Hero. Engine stuck, gas tank ok. Depending on availability of missing parts I would like to fix it. So I am asking for some experts to list what you see that is missing. To start with I know the little floor- pan- like thingy is missing.
Try spraying some solvent like WD-40 or PB blaster in the cylnder and just let it sit to see if it'll free up the engine.
how long has it been sitting out doors?
Been outside most of the winter.

Or , boredom . ;)
At least gonna need new rings, carb shim, cables, belt and chains. Also I bet the tank is mega rusty.
