Brake Lever Perch for use with Short Pull Throttle?

I've got this short pull throttle assembly I'm gonna run on a Free Spirit Build, but I'm not sure what to do about a front brake lever. Is there a separate perch for one that works well with these? I'm not really finding what I'm searching for, or I'm searching the wrong words. I'm sure there's a super simple bolt on application for this, but I'm not finding it.

FWIW my Tomos came with a short pull throttle and I'm swapping it to a regular throttle. On a variated bike where the engine can spin in the power band constantly the short pull is nice, it makes it hard for me to modulate the throttle when accelerating with the two speed though.

And I just saw you're building an E50.... I wouldn't be happy with the short pull in a single speed. (edited)

Re: Brake Lever Perch for use with Short Pull Throttle?

Just buy a right hand brake lever assembly. Clock the throttle down or up to clear. There really isn't anything you need to figure out here.

Thanks guys. That's what I was looking for. I was obviously just entering the wrong search words. Got it now, thanks.

Thomas, thanks for the advice, that makes sense. I might just stick with the Magura then.

Probably Fred /

I just removed the throttle tube on my magnum xk Gila, left everything where it sat since (slid it down a bit) it was built and put short pull throttle right on, Ghetto But it still works fine.

That was over a decade ago though when that 35$ right hand brake lever on treats wasn’t available,

I think you will have a bit more space with the 35$ Assembly and it will look better with just lever perch over leaving part throttle on like I did but 35$ and shipping just adds to the build budget

I just dropped $700 last night at Treats for this build. What's another $35?

But I think I'll wait until my next order to buy it; I'll have a punch list when I'm about finished with the build. I'm sure I'll have no trouble meeting the free shipping threshold. I can't believe I'm putting this much dough into a damn moped.

It depends what you use it for, and how you care for it. I got a moped to commute to work instead of riding the bus. At roughly $100 a month for 11 years, I've saved over $13,000, not to mention all the time I would have wasted waiting at the bus stop.

This one is just going to be used to beat around on dirt roads and trails in the mountains. It will never turn over 9000 rpm's.
