my lavalette aml 50/2 motors clutch weights have 2 tiny springs and the manual says they are rated at 700grams and the other is 3kg.
what does this exactly mean so I can check it and find a suitable replacement as mine are missing.

lighter ones are starter clutch springs. heavyer are the main clutch springs..
measure the diameter of the output shaft and post it with a pic here....im almost certain thaT a motobecane assembly would fit..
will do, but it wont be until tomorrow now (its evening here in uk)
i'm hoping a motobecane assembly fits because I also have a 60cc lavalette motor that needs the full clutch/variator
