Hi All,
I just picked up a Batavus. Can you tell me what model it is? Also would this be the Laura M48 or 56? Also, I know it's not the stock tank.
Thanks,
Batavus Starflite with M48 engine.
Thanks for the quick response.
pretty reliable, all around dependable
For the price I figured it wasn't bad. It just needs a gas line, then some cosmetics like the tank.
Eric from mono had a spare Starflight gas tank, check with him he might still have it.
Good ole cast 'arn cylinder. Good bikes, weak forks though.
The color of the clutch the cylinder will have a mark on the side of the m-30 I think it is it will either be an a. 1 .2. b. or 3c... Also all have a v. The spark plug and carb are different on the 35 mph.
The cases correspond to the cyl with a base skirt groove that joins the case induced intakes. They also have a corresponding # on the case.
Red brown clutch encarwi 8s a or 1 cyl and 11or10 on the case Bosch150w plug.

This is your best bet.
Thanks I was actually just looking at that as well.

Your engine is case reed and that cylinder is piston port. If you don't know what you are doing it will never run again with the Sachs cylinder. You would probably have to relocate cylinder studs and make a spacer/mill something at the least. Oh and fabricate and exhaust
