just bought this pristine beauty. (don't suppose anyone is familiar with Lavalette AML 50 engines?)
I like it . :)
Looks to be a pretty simple motor .
yeah managed to get a fantastic workshop manual in English.I need to know the thread size for the missing magneto retaining nut. I know the part number of the nut - WMU 92 F1X and how much it cost to buy in 1957 - 1 shilling and 4d but nothing about thread size
measuring it with a thread gauge it seems in-between 1mm and 0.9 and 10mm.
looks like u need to study it's language.
the tank is interesting...
rear frame looks '' tender ''
i'm guessing a 20mph moped of sorts
1.8hp and 35mph claimed
and 175mpg at 25mph
need a spare engine to play with to try and get it going dangerously fast
but they are very rare
Maybe this forum might have some info?
no rear spoungies; hard tail on an bumpy cow path?
@ 35mph?= a proper get off!
i bet some italian bloke knows all about this steed.
maybe ask the radiolady @ brapchat to put a shout out...
or ask rebel moby, he probably knows all about this pony.
