do i win? looks like it sat in salt water, its a 2 coil pug, has some chug a chug issues, i peeled and epoxied the top coil, ext ht coil n condenser. gonna change points now.

I'd run it
condenser not it, found a loose terminal to coil, nope, but. .. heard some crunchy noises, its rust on magneto wedging the coils, too small to really see but while i blew it out crap jump out n pop me in the face.
i had seen this hairline crack on the magneto, it opposite a peice of metal n not a magnet.
I got a way shittier one. i'll make it run.

so, as per myrons page i grounded black, and disconnected brown isolating ignition from rest and that got rid of the backfires and chugs chugs. now to find the issue so i have lights.
Damn 2 coil is trash. The mbk cdi is a good upgrade if you cant track down a 5 coil.
i loose... couldn't get rid of the misfire and installed a mbk cdi w pug spacer. cut back about 1/8 in. to get more grab outta crank threads n welded two nuts together.
very pleased, anyone want the old crap lemme know.
To get brake lights working, changed to NO switches, cut the black from headlight ground soldered to black that goes to tail light, taped the bullet connecter
in middle and disconnected black reactence thingy from rear bulb, then soldered green to red up front to power.
