Honda C50 (1971-6 volt) tail light won't work.

Everything else working fine on electrics but can't get tail light to work.

Have checked with several bulbs/fuse/connections etc.....brake-light/headlight/indicators/horn all good......any ideas much appreciated.

Sharp looking bike!

Many thanks for that.....will try tomorrow.

I recently undersealed/waxoiled under fender(although it was sound) so maybe that has caused the problem.

Sorted !.....Many thanks for help.

Discovered that previous owner had unfastened ground wire behind tail-light unit....whilst he was fitting 12v bulbs all round. All working now.

I love these bikes (have a C90 6v too). The quality of Honda of 50 years ago is better than most bikes now.

i have a black 1964 c100 / 49cc for the groms who don't know hondogs.

anywHoO0O0o i like the fact that the c105 / 54cc...

fit over a 49cc bottom end and the tail 55 as it's called has an overlay sprocket 420 chain and with a 17t front sprocket can get to 48 mph & on the trail sprocket can get 36mph...and gets 178mpg all the while. but u have to have a good battery for them to start..the moby doesn't need as much of a warm-up as a hondew, or a battery & mine goes 47 mph anyhow..they both have merits in the antique

world/daily drivers...bye the bye your red rider looks like a london ride... is it?.

I have one that has been about the most extreme nightmare for literal years. I've rarely owned bikes this long let alone been continually working on the same one. it's a motherfucker.

still, big big love for cubs
