Often times you can still see contrast from where the numbers were even if the ink is gone. The number stamped on the right motor mount is the unique part of the vin number, you're missing the prefix that makes it 17 digits. The actual vin will be something like ZZ1A(then two digits for model)12x(Digit for year)K(unique part of the vin that's stamped on the frame)
